When I first saw Dr. Ricks, I was feeling very tired, fatigued and thirsty all the time,” Darlene says. “Dr. Ricks started by evaluating all my medications and then changing a few. I would have a follow-up visit every three or six months when he would update me on my progress and continue tweaking my medications. Every time I saw Dr. Ricks, he would encourage me not to worry and tell me we were going in the right direction to get my diabetes under control. It was so reassuring to hear him say that, and today I have a lot more energy and have even lost a few pounds,” Darlene says. “I’m not feeling drowsy during the day, I’m thinking more clearly, and my stamina has improved. I’m feeling much more like myself.”
