ICU RN Honored in News Article

ICU RN Brooke Ballard was honored with a moving article by Bro. Mike Tynes in today's Enterprise-Journal. The family of Mrs. Lena Hodges calls Brooke, "an angel in a human body" for her loving and professional care of Mrs. Hodges. Tynes quoted 1 Peter 4:8:" Not only does love cover a multitude of sin, it sparks a will to live in a dying soul." The family asked that Brooke's excellent treatment be recognized. "She made a difficult time for both patient and family more tolerable with her graciousness", added Mrs. Hodges' daughter, Ruth Terrell. Brooke, 24, transferred to SMRMC's ICU last year and wanted to "make a difference in the lives of people in distress", she said, and added, 'It is my goal to help people through their most difficult times as these."
