Our Story

The Southwest Medical Foundation was incorporated August 29, 1979, to drive a comprehensive program of fund development that supports the overall mission and vision of Southwest Health, making a positive impact for patients, their families, and our Southwest Health family of employees.

Our goal is through philanthropy. We raise funds and dedicate our resources to further advance the needs of Southwest Health and those it serves. The Foundation has made major contributions to Southwest Health. One was a $100,000 gift to help establish an outpatient diagnostic clinic for easier access to 3D Mammography for our community. The Foundation also landscaped the Medical Center Walking Track after various storms devastated the trees and shrubs around the Track, which is used 24 hours a day by employees and the public.

Employees give regularly to the Foundation, and for that, we can never truly express how thankful we are.

You can make a difference through your generosity and caring. By making a pledge or gift today, you can help us continue providing amenities to benefit patients and staff and as well as assisting in allowing Southwest Health to remain on the cutting edge of new technology while improving the health and wellness of those residing in our communities. You may also make memorials and honorariums on this site.
