Supply Boxes for Flood Victims

These are the 2 types of boxes you may complete and deliver to Holmes Stationers by September 11 for delivery to Texas by Moore’s Moving and Storage. Holmes will have boxes available for your kits by tomorrow. 1136 Hwy. 51, Summit.
Bathroom Box:
Use a square or rectangular laundry basket. Add:
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Bar Soap
- Toilet Brush
- Inexpensive Shower Liner
- Shower Curtain Rings
- Powdered laundry detergent
- Hairbrush
- Package of Disposable Razors
- Nail Clippers
- Nail Files
Wrap everything in new towels and washcloths. Add as many rolls of toilet paper as will fit.
Top with a sturdy piece of cardboard and secure with packing (not duct) tape so that top the basket will have a flat top for stacking purposes.
Kitchen Box:
In a sturdy cardboard box (like a book box)
- Inexpensive coffee maker
- Coffee filters
- Can of coffee
- Can opener
- Two real coffee cups
- Small kitchen knife
- Plastic cutting board
- Four lightweight plastic plates (not disposable)
- Four plastic tumblers
- Four sets of silverware
- Four plastic cereal bowls
- Ice cube trays
- Sponges
- Large trash bags
- Other suggestions: small skillet and/or saucepan and any other items to get a new kitchen off the ground
